People have been calling me “Hoosteeno” for 30 years. I think the first ones to call me that were the friendly staff at Las Delicias in Denver, back when Las Delicias was just one little room on 19th St. with fake brick on the walls. The name quickly caught on among my friends and has followed me ever since.

I like building things. I build web products at Mozilla, a non-profit devoted to ensuring that the web continues to serve individuals like you and me. Before that, I cofounded and was CEO of Boulder’s dojo4, a great web development consultancy. I’ve been building and supporting internet and web technology for almost 20 years.

In my tinkering time I make things in the workshop, get lost on bikes, look at the sky, write and draw.

This blog’s contents reflect my personal views, not anyone else’s.
